DATA KINGDOM is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead and expand our Data Engineering team. Therefore, we seek a Senior Data Engineer who wants more than just providing technical solutions, but is energized by leading a team and growing the Data Engineering branch.

DATA KINGDOM helps clients work in a data-driven manner by translating their strategy into a data strategy. From that data strategy, we bring the right data together effectively and ultimately visualize it in Power BI.

Job Description
As a Senior Data Engineer, or King/Queen Data Engineer, at DATA KINGDOM, you are the data architect who masters the entire process, from connecting data to delivering a dashboard. Connecting various sources and complex data models does not intimidate you. You are also an experienced consultant who can identify new business opportunities and clearly advise clients on data implementation. Additionally, you are responsible for mentoring our talented princes and princesses in the data analysis team. Your role is crucial in ensuring excellent support for our clients’ successful data-driven journey.
What do we expect from our Senior Data Engineer
Completed HBO/WO education with a focus on data analysis or related field
At least 2 years of experience as a senior Data Engineer
Knowledge of Azure (must)
Knowledge of SQL (must)
Knowledge of Power BI (must)
Knowledge of Fabric (preferred)
Experience or interest in providing training is a plus
Extensive experience in stakeholder management and the ability to guide our junior and medior analysts
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex analyses in an understandable way
Independence, proactivity, and eagerness to learn
Good command of both Dutch and English
You are present as often as possible on our fixed office day (every Wednesday in Utrecht) and regularly visit our clients (mainly in the Randstad)
